Tesla billionaire shareholder Leo KoGuan purchased 1 million shares of Nvidia Corp., investing approximately $180 million as the semiconductor giant closed at $180.05 per share. The 71-year-old investor, who has a $12.8 billion fortune according to Bloomberg Billionaires Index, declared his conviction that "AI is NOT a bubble, it is only the beginning" on social media. He further indicated plans to purchase an additional 1 million shares to support what he perceives as a nervous market.

Born in Indonesia and educated in New York, KoGuan made his fortune through SHI International Corp., a New Jersey-based software company. Despite growing skepticism of Elon Musk and Tesla's executive compensation decisions—including a potential $1 trillion pay package for Musk—KoGuan remains "mostly in Tesla" and treasury bills. He has built his massive Tesla stake since 2019 using stock options, though he has declined to specify how much he has reduced his holdings over time.

KoGuan maintains that Tesla's energy, cybercap, and Teslabot divisions "are NOT fully priced in," suggesting "daring investors could still buy Tesla today for the future fortune." He describes Tesla as "the leading embodied AI on earth," highlighting his continued belief in the electric vehicle company's long-term prospects even as he diversifies into other technology investments.
