A wallet linked to the 2023 Mixin Network hack has transferred $3.85 million worth of Ethereum to Tornado Cash in a series of 20 transactions. The funds, originally stolen in the September 2023 breach that drained $200 million from the Hong Kong-based crypto platform, were moved to an unknown wallet before being routed through the privacy mixer.

The Mixin exploit targeted the platform's cloud service provider, affecting assets across multiple blockchains. Mixin Network later compensated users with up to 50% of losses in USDT and issued tokenized claims through its Mixin Debt Token series. The attacker-controlled wallet had remained dormant for nearly two years before this recent activity.

Despite the massive breach, Mixin Network continues operations with over $1 billion in assets under management and more than 1 million customers. The platform maintains its crypto wallet, custody services, and trading infrastructure while working through its repayment obligations to affected users.
