Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson announced a partnership to bring LayerZero to the Cardano blockchain during a keynote at Consensus Hong Kong. The integration will enable USDCx stablecoin functionality with privacy features powered by zero-knowledge technology.

LayerZero, which recently secured investment from Citadel Securities, aims to power institutional-grade markets. The announcement coincided with Midnight's mainnet rollout, marking a significant expansion of Cardano's ecosystem capabilities.

Hoskinson acknowledged the current market downturn but characterized it as temporary, insisting the macro remains bullish.
