These attacks come as both sides prepare for negotiations marking the fourth anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion on February 22.

At the Munich Security Conference, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed concerns about future security guarantees and questioned U.S. proposals for a free trade zone in the Donbas region. Senator Jeanne Shaheen warned that without real security guarantees, Russia could renew hostilities.
