Russian forces launched a major drone strike on Ukraine's Black Sea port infrastructure near Odesa, killing one civilian and injuring six others while destroying warehouses and vehicles. The attack targeted one of three ports around Odesa, which serve as critical maritime export arteries for Ukraine's wartime economy. The Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority confirmed the facility continued operating despite infrastructure damage.

In a separate incident near the eastern front line, three brothers including an eight-year-old were killed when their home was struck late Thursday. Their mother and grandmother were injured in the attack in Donetsk region. Ukraine's air force reported Russia launched 154 drones and one ballistic missile overnight, with air defenses downing or neutralizing 111 of the drones.

The strikes came as Moscow escalates attacks on both port and railway infrastructure while Kyiv targets Russian oil facilities. Deputy Prime Minister Oleksiy Kuleba reported that railway infrastructure in Dnipropetrovsk region also came under attack in the past 24 hours. Ukraine's major private energy company DTEK described damage to energy infrastructure in Odesa as "extremely serious" with repairs expected to take considerable time.
