San Jose is set to welcome Wagyu Master, an all-you-can-eat Japanese Wagyu restaurant opening later this month at 1410 El Paseo de Saratoga. The concept, from the team behind Chubby Cattle, marks the group's second location after debuting in Pasadena on December 31, 2025. The restaurant will occupy a space previously held by The Melt and Tabu Shabu.

Wagyu Master offers two pricing tiers: a Sukiyaki Tasting Menu at $98 and a Shabu Shabu Tasting Menu at $88. Both options include access to an 80-item buffet featuring unlimited milk tea, desserts, and side dishes, plus premium cuts like A5 Ribeye and A5 Striploin. The buffet highlights include Crispy Squab, Beijing-Style Giant Wing, and live crab and lobster specialties.

The restaurant claims to be the first all-you-can-eat establishment featuring 100% Japanese Wagyu in the United States. According to the press release, Wagyu Master sources its Wagyu from Japan's largest supplier. The San Jose location is tentatively scheduled to open by February 20, with a firm opening date before the end of the month.
