A 35-year-old Ohio mother faces criminal charges after allegedly injecting human waste into her child's IV line at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus. Tiffany Lesueur was arrested following surveillance footage that captured her collecting fecal matter from a bathroom and injecting it into her child's intravenous line using a syringe.

Hospital staff first contacted Columbus police on February 6 after suspecting abuse, with records showing Lesueur was placed under observation for future visits. On February 8, surveillance video allegedly showed her collecting what appeared to be fecal matter in a cup, transferring it to a syringe, and injecting it into the IV line on her child's left hand. The child was immediately treated after the incident was discovered.

Lesueur has been charged with endangering children, with bond set at $250,000. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for February 19 in Franklin County Municipal Court. The case has raised questions about hospital security protocols and the monitoring of potentially abusive parents in pediatric care settings.
