Kroger Shooting Leaves 2 Injured in Warren County

Two people were hospitalized after an accidental shooting at a Kroger store in Warren County, Ohio, on Friday night. The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. at the store located on State Route 48 in Hamilton Township, according to police chief Scott Hughes.

Officers found two victims with minor injuries in the vestibule area of the store. Police say the gunfire originated from outside, likely from a nearby property, and was accidental. An arrest has been made, though the suspect's identity has not been released.

The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives responded to assist with the investigation. Police say there is no threat to the public and are asking anyone with information to contact authorities.
