The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is investigating Evan Kaufman, a 32-year-old man accused of recording and uploading private sexual videos without consent. Kaufman faces multiple charges including sexual battery and video voyeurism after allegedly sharing intimate videos of women on pornography websites without their knowledge.

Investigators say the case began in June 2025, more than two years after an alleged January 2023 incident. The victim reported meeting Kaufman at a New Year's Eve party in 2022, then attending a Jaguars game where she consumed alcohol provided by him. She later woke up naked in his bed with no memory of what occurred. Detectives identified two additional alleged victims, one sexually battered and another recorded while intoxicated.

Attorney Chris Carson emphasized that consent becomes invalid when alcohol or drugs are involved, particularly if someone is unconscious. Dr. Christine Cauffield noted that fear and anxiety often prevent victims from coming forward, adding that delayed reporting does not invalidate someone's experience. Kaufman was arrested on February 11 with a bond exceeding $200,000 before being released two days later. The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is now urging additional victims to contact law enforcement as the investigation continues.
