A Dodge Charger Hellcat crash at Shaw and Maroa Avenues in Fresno created a 500-foot trail of destruction on Feb. 18, 2026. The muscle car became airborne at high speed, shearing off street signs, tearing through a bus stop, and damaging multiple businesses before coming to rest nearly a block away.

Despite extensive damage to storefronts and vehicles, the driver walked away unharmed, according to the California Highway Patrol. The crash sheared off a street sign, twisted a business marquee, shattered windows, and gouged into a brick wall. Cell Tech owner described hearing a "loud explosion" as debris flew through his shop.

CHP confirmed speed was the determining factor, not alcohol or drugs. The violent collision sent debris flying into nearby businesses and vehicles, including the shop owner's car. This incident follows another crash at the same intersection just days later, raising concerns about safety at this busy Fresno location.
