A Florida man is facing multiple felony charges after allegedly kidnapping a woman and her 3-year-old child following an online date. Saady Mijail Castellanos Triminio, 34, was arrested after the woman escaped his Miami home early Saturday morning.

According to police reports, the woman met Castellanos Triminio on Facebook Dating about two weeks before the incident. He allegedly offered to buy tickets for her and her daughter to visit Miami for his birthday, which she accepted. After picking them up from what was supposed to be their first restaurant date, he instead took them to his residence.

Once inside, the woman told police Castellanos Triminio grew angry when she refused to kiss him and began threatening her. He allegedly blocked her exit, took her phone when she tried texting a friend, and covered her mouth when she screamed. The woman managed to escape to a room with her child and called for help.

Responding officers found the pair and detained Castellanos Triminio. He faces charges including kidnapping, robbery, child neglect, and battery by strangulation. The incident highlights the dangers of online dating, particularly when meeting strangers with children.
