Attorney General Pam Bondi announced the Justice Department has released all files related to Jeffrey Epstein, fulfilling obligations under the Epstein Transparency Act. Bondi and Deputy AG Todd Blanche informed lawmakers that all records, documents and investigative materials related to Epstein were made public, with redactions only to protect victims' personal information.

The released files contain a lengthy list of "politically exposed persons" including Donald Trump, Joe Biden, Mark Zuckerberg, and Tucker Carlson. The DOJ clarified no records were withheld due to embarrassment, reputational harm, or political sensitivity. Names appear in various contexts, from extensive email contact to mere mentions in unrelated documents.

The release follows recent congressional scrutiny of Bondi's handling of Epstein files, with lawmakers like Jamie Raskin accusing her of leading a "massive Epstein cover-up." The DOJ worked with victim counsel on redactions, which included personally identifiable information and medical files that would constitute "a clearly unwarranted invasion of personal privacy."
