Polk County Sheriff's Office investigators executed two multi-agency operations, Operation Bloodline and Operation Flatline, resulting in the arrest of 51 suspects and the seizure of significant narcotics. Authorities seized 78 pounds of methamphetamine, 14.55 pounds of fentanyl, 13 firearms, and approximately $20,000. The investigations targeted a trafficking organization operating across Polk, Hillsborough, Osceola, Orange, Volusia, and Pasco counties.

Detectives used wiretaps and undercover surveillance to penetrate the group, uncovering a supply route moving meth from California. Jemarion Young, a Winter Haven gang leader, is accused of collaborating with Spencer Leonard Jr. to distribute drugs. Young faces charges including racketeering and 12 counts of meth trafficking. The investigation began in August 2025. Angela Valenta's fentanyl overdose in December 2025 led to Operation Flatline, resulting in charges against William Newton Jr. and the seizure of 6.1 pounds of fentanyl.

Sheriff Grady Judd emphasized the deadly impact of traffickers, stating they are 'literally murdering people and tearing apart families.' Authorities are seeking Young, who has an outstanding warrant, and expect more arrests as legal proceedings continue.
