A construction company overseeing the Buffalo Bills' new $2 billion stadium has offered a $100,000 reward for information about vandals who caused $150,000 in damage to luxury suites. The incident occurred between February 13 and 16 at the under-construction Highmark Stadium, where blue oil-based spray paint was blasted onto unfinished marble surfaces.

Gilbane | Turner, the construction firm managing the massive project, temporarily suspended work to address the vandalism. Erie County officials reported the worst damage occurred in four suites that were nearly complete. The Erie County Sheriff's Office is investigating, focusing on the approximately 300 workers who had access to the site during the timeframe of the incident.

The vandalism included pornographic and anti-LGBTQ graffiti, according to county officials. Construction resumed Friday morning with the company emphasizing zero tolerance for such behavior. Despite the setback, the stadium remains on track for its June 1 completion deadline, with the company stating that maintaining a safe, respectful jobsite is their highest priority.
