Authorities believe they have found the body of Hailey Buzbee, a missing Indiana teenager, in central Ohio. Her attorney, Sam Shamansky, stated that Tyler Thomas, a person of interest, led the FBI to the body in Perry County. Thomas faces charges including tampering with evidence and pandering sexually oriented material involving a minor.

Buzbee, last seen on January 5th, is believed to have met Thomas through an online gaming platform. Evidence suggests she left her home voluntarily to meet him. Thomas initially told detectives he dropped her off in western Ohio, a claim disproven by investigators. He had his bond set at $1.5 million.

Thomas's phone contained sexually oriented photos and videos of Buzbee, some of which he attempted to delete. He was temporarily released to the FBI for investigation before being returned to jail. The case, initially classified as a runaway, was later upgraded to an "endangered missing juvenile" investigation.

The investigation continues, with authorities examining evidence found in Thomas's vehicle and home. While Thomas has not been charged with murder, the discovery of Buzbee's body marks a somber turn in the case. The community is looking for answers and justice for the family of Hailey Buzbee.
