Chemmy Alcott, a veteran BBC Winter Olympics announcer, has been reprimanded for violating the network's strict broadcasting outfit guidelines. The 43-year-old former Olympic skier, who competed for Great Britain in four Winter Games, found herself in hot water after wearing branded knitwear from Snow Finel during coverage.

This marks the second time Alcott has faced disciplinary action for outfit violations. In 2022, she was spotted wearing the same brand's clothing while presenting Ski Sunday and covering Olympic events, prompting a stern reprimand from BBC executives. The network's guidelines explicitly prohibit presenters from wearing or using products they have promotional agreements with or financial interests in.

BBC officials confirmed Alcott received an official reprimand and will not wear the brand on air again. The incident highlights the strict enforcement of broadcasting ethics rules at major sporting events, where even subtle brand endorsements can violate network policies. Alcott, who transitioned to broadcasting after retiring from professional skiing in 2014, has been a prominent voice for BBC's Winter Olympics coverage since 2018.
