Other common mistakes include choosing rear-of-plane seats near bathrooms, which means last access to meals and drink service, and seats near galleys where flight attendants prepare food. International flight attendant Sherry Martin Peters notes that galley noise from carts and conversations can disrupt sleep. For aisle seats, passengers face constant interruptions from service carts and fellow travelers.
