Wayfair reported a mixed second quarter, swinging to a net loss of $1 million, or 1 cent per share, compared with a profit of $15 million, or 11 cents per share, a year earlier. Adjusted earnings per share came in at 95 cents, beating the 90-cent analyst estimate from FactSet.

Revenue rose 7.5% to $3.52 billion, surpassing the $3.47 billion consensus forecast. The furniture retailer's U.S. segment delivered growth, while international sales declined, dragging overall profitability lower.

The results highlight the company's ongoing struggle to translate top-line expansion into bottom-line gains outside its domestic market. Investors will watch whether international operations can stabilize in coming quarters.
