Delivery Hero raised its full-year guidance after reporting accelerated growth in its quick-commerce grocery business during the second quarter. The German food-delivery company now expects on-year like-for-like gross merchandise value (GMV) growth of 9% to 11%, up from 8% to 10%, and group revenue growth of 17% to 19%, up from 14% to 16%. It projects adjusted EBITDA between 960 million euros and 1.0 billion euros and free cash flow exceeding 250 million euros.

For Q2, quick commerce GMV grew 32% on a like-for-like basis, with subscribers accounting for 47% of group GMV. Group GMV rose to 13.21 billion euros from 12.24 billion euros, while revenue increased to 4.02 billion euros from 3.49 billion euros, beating analyst consensus of 12.77 billion euros GMV and 3.85 billion euros revenue. Growth was driven across all key regions: MENA, Asia, Americas, and Europe.

CEO Niklas Ostberg highlighted the "Everyday App strategy" and a new partnership with Uber to advance growth. The quick commerce model delivers groceries within 15-30 minutes via "dark stores" and a dedicated rider network.
