Bertelsmann, owner of Penguin Random House, anticipates rising revenue and earnings from continuing operations in 2026 following stable financial performance in the prior year. The German media conglomerate expects growth despite reporting largely unchanged top and bottom lines for 2025.

Bertelsmann reported after-tax profit of €1.01 billion ($1.17 billion) for 2025, slightly down from €1.04 billion the previous year. Adjusted operating earnings remained stable at €3.02 billion, while total revenue stayed flat at €18.96 billion though organic growth reached 1.9%.

The acquisition of Sky Deutschland will drive future expansion, with CEO Thomas Rabe projecting group revenues to reach approximately €21 billion in the 2026 financial year upon full-year consolidation of the deal.
