President Trump stated that the Navy's deployment in the Middle East is "not nearly long enough," despite concerns from servicemembers' families.

He asserted that families are not worried, as the USS Lincoln is being replaced by the USS George Washington for a scheduled Middle East deployment. This comes amid growing congressional attention to reports of poor conditions aboard the Lincoln, including issues with food, supplies, plumbing, and sailors' mental health.
