Despite a significant drop in value and a trillion-dollar market cap reduction, retail investors are viewing SpaceX shares as an "insane opportunity." Gali Russell, a devoted follower of Elon Musk's ventures, has committed approximately 75% of his portfolio to SpaceX, citing the company's ambitious vision of space exploration and colonization.

Russell described the recent selloff as a prime buying moment on X, a sentiment echoed by Musk himself. While many Wall Street professionals are selling their stakes, retail investors are drawn to the long-term potential.

SpaceX's stock has experienced a 43% decline from its peak, including a 14% drop after its initial earnings report. Nevertheless, the stock saw a 6.1% increase on Thursday, even as up to 912 million shares became available following the end of a crucial lockup period. This influx of shares had been anticipated to cause further market volatility.
