A South Korean cryptocurrency exchange made a catastrophic error that sent shockwaves through the digital asset market. Coinone, one of the country's largest crypto trading platforms, accidentally distributed approximately $40 billion worth of Bitcoin to its users during what was supposed to be a routine promotional event.
