Two U.S. service members were killed overnight during an Iranian strike on Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan, and a third was missing but later found. Four others received medical evacuation, and the rest suffered minor injuries.

The Pentagon identified the fallen as 19‑year‑old Isabella Gonzales and 25‑year‑old Tyler James Feehan, both supporting Operation Inherent Resolve.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth posted condolences, and U.S. forces launched a new round of airstrikes on Iran, marking the eighth consecutive night, to degrade the IRGC’s ability to threaten shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.

These deaths are the 15th and 16th U.S. casualties in the Iran conflict, following earlier strikes in Kuwait, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia.
