Roughly 200,000 immigrants had their commercial licenses revoked in March, barring them from driving semis, buses, and tractor-trailers despite passing required tests.

Critics question whether military vehicle experience adequately prepares veterans for commercial driving, warning that granting licenses to untested drivers could reduce road safety. The administration insists the policy prioritizes American workers and public safety.
