The agreement positions Samsung as the sole provider of HBM4 for the top-tier segment of Nvidia's Vera Rubin chips, leveraging Samsung's superior HBM4 technology. This gives Samsung a significant competitive advantage in the lucrative AI chip supply chain.

Samsung's mass production of HBM4, a first among memory producers, underpins this exclusive arrangement. While Nvidia's general AI models will dominate production volume, the high-end models utilizing Samsung's HBM4 are expected to deliver substantially higher profit margins, enhancing Nvidia's revenue potential.
