Eldorado Gold Q4 Profit Beats Estimates on Strong Gold Output

Eldorado Gold reported fourth-quarter earnings of $0.63 per share, exceeding Wall Street's $0.52 estimate, while revenue reached $577.2 million compared to the $498.46 million analysts had projected. The company's stock declined 4.89% in pre-market trading despite the strong results. Full-year 2025 production totaled 488,268 ounces of gold, hitting the upper end of guidance, with Q4 production at 123,416 ounces.

Gold sales for the quarter reached 126,923 ounces at an average realized price of $4,251 per ounce, while full-year sales of 491,204 ounces averaged $3,505 per ounce. Cost performance remained solid throughout the year, with total cash costs of $1,295 per ounce in Q4 and $1,176 per ounce for the full year, landing at the low end of guidance. All-in sustaining costs were $1,894 per ounce in the quarter and $1,664 per ounce for 2025.

Operating cash flow reached $283.7 million in Q4 and $742.5 million for the full year, with the company ending 2025 with $869.4 million in cash and cash equivalents. CEO George Burns noted that 2025 was a year of strong execution and meaningful progress across the portfolio, driven by solid operating performance and favorable gold prices. The company continues advancing its Skouries copper-gold project in Greece, with first production expected in early Q3 2026.
