Dycom Stock Jumps on Strong Q4 Results

Dycom Industries saw its shares climb more than 2% in premarket trading after the telecommunications services provider reported fiscal fourth-quarter results that topped Wall Street expectations. The company posted earnings per share of $2.03, beating the analyst consensus estimate of $1.80, while revenue surged 34.4% year over year to $1.46 billion.

Adjusted EBITDA for the quarter reached $162.4 million, representing an 11.1% margin that expanded by 41 basis points. The company ended the period with a substantial backlog of $9.542 billion. CEO Dan Peyovich described the results as closing a record year marked by organic growth acceleration, meaningful margin expansion, and increased free cash flow.

The positive momentum continued into guidance for fiscal 2027, with first-quarter projections for earnings between $2.57 and $2.90 per share, slightly below the consensus estimate of $2.79. For the full year, Dycom expects contract revenues between $6.85 billion and $7.15 billion.
