The closure forced non-Emirati carriers like IndiGo to suspend landings, while British Airways halted all Dubai flights until at least June.

Regional hubs Doha and Abu Dhabi also face severe constraints, impacting Qatar Airways and Etihad. Emirates had to reroute planes after a drone hit a fuel tank near the airport, requiring stops for refueling at other sites. Operations resumed Tuesday but remain hampered by ongoing conflict.

This latest disruption deals a blow to the airport's recovery efforts after flights halted weeks ago.
