Abbas Sajwani, the 26‑year‑old son of UAE billionaire Hussain Sajwani, is close to buying the Regent’s Park estate known as The Holme for about £190 m. The four‑acre property sits beside the U.S. ambassador’s home and is leased from the Crown Estate.

The purchase follows a £139 m sale two years ago and comes after the house was owned by Saudi royals and placed in receivership. The deal marks one of London’s most expensive residential transactions and signals continued interest from Middle‑East investors in prime UK assets.

Sajwani’s family runs Damac Properties and AHS Properties, and the son has recently bought Dubai’s Shangri‑La hotel for $300 m. His move into London real estate aligns with his father’s high‑profile ties to U.S. politics and previous $20 bn U.S. data‑centre investment.

The transaction, handled by Sotheby’s International Realty, could reshape competition for luxury homes near Parliament and expose London’s market to further foreign capital inflows.
