GFH Financial Group reported full year gross profit of just over $719 million, marking an 8.1% year-over-year increase. The Bahrain-based investment firm also achieved a net profit jump of more than 18% attributable to shareholders. CEO Hisham Alrayes discussed the company's growth strategy with Bloomberg's Horizons Middle East and Africa, highlighting plans to digitize operations and list their healthcare subsidiary Healian.

Speaking with Joumanna Bercetche, Alrayes outlined GFH's expansion into Saudi Arabia, where the firm aims to list Healian within the next 12-18 months. The healthcare arm represents a strategic focus for GFH as it diversifies beyond traditional financial services. The company's strong financial performance provides a solid foundation for these growth initiatives.

The planned Saudi listing reflects GFH's broader regional ambitions and the kingdom's growing appeal for healthcare sector investments. With digitization efforts underway and healthcare expansion in motion, GFH positions itself for continued growth in the Middle East financial landscape. The timing aligns with Saudi Arabia's push to develop its healthcare infrastructure and attract foreign investment.
