Hedge funds boosted their bullish wagers on US gasoline by the most since the US-Iran war began, according to Commodity Futures Trading Commission data. Money managers increased net long gasoline bets by 5,533 lots to 79,858 in the week ending Aug. 25, marking the largest one-week move since February 24, just before the US and Israel first launched attacks on Iran.
