Colombia’s richest family is nearing a Venezuela oil deal in conjunction with GeoPark Ltd, a Bogota-based oil company in which it is the largest shareholder with a 28% stake, according to people familiar with the matter. The imminent deal involving the Gilinski Group and GeoPark is part of a rush of investors into the resource-rich country that the Trump administration is seeking to prime for an economic revival.
