Ferrovial to Leave Amsterdam Stock Exchange in 2026

Ferrovial plans to withdraw its listing from the Amsterdam stock exchange starting in September 2026, after three years of presence on Euronext Amsterdam, the last trading day set for September 10, 2026, with definitive exclusion on September 11, 2026, as communicated to the CNMV. The withdrawal will also free resources for other strategic initiatives.

The move follows three years on Euronext Amsterdam and two on Nasdaq, with liquidity shifting to the U.S. and Spanish markets, where trading volumes are 59.21% and 40.63% of total average daily volume, while Euronext Amsterdam accounts for barely 0.15% of the market, making its continued presence unjustified.

Ferrovial will remain listed on Nasdaq in New York and on Spanish exchanges, keep its headquarters in the Netherlands, and continue to obey Dutch regulatory and corporate governance rules, aligning with its long‑term strategy and stakeholder interests while simplifying its listing structure. The regulatory framework remains unchanged, ensuring continuity of compliance.

The company says this measure improves the efficiency of its stock profile, reduces complexity, and is justified by the redistribution of trading volume, while keeping the Amsterdam listing is no longer warranted. This aligns with industry trends of firms consolidating listings to primary exchanges.
