KME Group Spa has selected banks to arrange a Frankfurt listing of its Cunova GmbH unit, which produces copper-nickel products.

The initial public offering could value Cunova at as much as €1 billion ($1.2 billion), according to people familiar with the matter.

The move highlights growing investor interest in copper-related assets amid the global shift toward electrification and renewable energy.
