Arcline Investment Management portfolio company Dwyer Omega has agreed to acquire SOR Controls Group, a Lenexa, Kansas-based maker of control instrumentation, for undisclosed terms. The deal expands Dwyer Omega's range of precision pressure, temperature, level and flow measurement products.

Founded in 1946, SOR designs and manufactures electronic and mechanical instrumentation for measuring pressure, temperature, level and flow. The company serves all sectors of the process industry and has significant experience in power generation, energy infrastructure, chemical processing and water treatment. Its brands include SOR Measurement Controls, SSi Temperature Sensors and SENSOR Sampling Systems.

Dwyer Omega makes precision measurement and control products for industrial and controlled environment applications. It has expanded its portfolio of measurement and control technologies under Arcline's ownership. Arcline has more than $30 billion in assets under management. The firm aims to build what it calls "industrial compounders": mission-critical industrial platforms designed to consistently compound earnings over decades.
