Jaymiëll Martina 12 strikeout to add RBI double as Curacao defeated Japan 4-0 on Saturday to advance to the Little League Baseball World Series championship game for the sixth time in the nation's history. Martina pitched 5⅔ scoreless innings, allowing only two hits and two walks in the international finale at Lamade Stadium. He left the mound with two outs in the sixth inning to a standing ovation, including from Japanese fans.

Giendry Ryan recorded the final out after combining with Martina for a no-hitter earlier in the tournament. Three other players notched hits for the team from Willemstad, which has outscored opponents 23-3 in four games. This marks the third time in five years a team from Willemstad will battle a U.S. team for the title.

The U.S. finale between Nevada and Ohio was set for later Saturday. Japan initially threatened with two hard-hit singles and loaded bases in the first inning, but Curaçao manager Railison Gijsbertha kept Martina in the game. He struck out the next two batters to escape the jam.

Curaçao broke through in the third inning, capitalizing on four Japanese throwing errors to build a 3-0 lead, then added a fourth run on Martina's double that scored Ryan.
