This victory marks Wigan's fifth consecutive win against Saints, underscoring their status as the league's dominant force. The Warriors showcased their strength with nine tries, including braces from Ellise Derbyshire and Eva Hunter, while St Helens could only muster a single try from Luci Mc Colm.

The match also served as the debut for the new Super Four format, designed to pit the top teams against each other more frequently.
