Northampton Saints wing Edoardo Todaro has earned his first Six Nations call-up after a standout breakthrough season. The 19-year-old, who made his senior Italy debut against Chile in November, is one of 33 players selected for the tournament opener against Scotland in Rome on February 7.

Todaro's inclusion follows a prolific run with Saints, where he's scored nine tries in 12 games and was named the Premiership's player of the month for October. He's joined by Paolo Odogwu, the versatile back who previously featured in England's 2021 squad but never won a cap for them.

Italy will be without key figures like Ange Capuozzo, Tommaso Allan, Sebastian Negri, and Ross Vintcent due to injuries. Coach Gonzalo Quesada is using the tournament to integrate new players, including uncapped duo Samuele Locatelli and Damiano Mazza, as the Azzurri build towards the 2027 World Cup.
