Duncan Scott led the charge, successfully defending his 200m individual medley title from the previous Games, breaking his own Commonwealth record. He was followed by Para-swimmer Stephen Clegg, who earned a silver medal in the 100m freestyle S13, showing resilience after a challenging year due to injury. His brother, James, finished fourth. Katie Shanahan upgraded her 2022 bronze to a silver in the 200m backstroke.

The medal rush continued later when Faye Rogers claimed gold in the 200m individual medley SM10 with a dominant performance.
