Rwanda's 15-year-old cricketer Fanny Utagushimaninde etched her name into history by becoming the youngest woman to score a T20 International century, achieving the milestone at 15 years and 223 days. The opening batter delivered an unbeaten 111 off 65 balls during her debut match against Ghana in Lagos, Nigeria, leading her team to a 122-run victory. Her knock surpassed the previous record held by Uganda's Prosscovia Alako, who was 16 years and 233 days old when she scored a century against Mali in 2019. Utagushimaninde's 65-ball innings also surpassed Australia's Karen Rolton's 96 on her 2005 debut, marking a new benchmark for women's T20 cricket.
