Liverpool's Paddy Pimblett has revealed he's gained 36lb (16kg) since his loss to Justin Gaethje at UFC 324. The 31-year-old lightweight contender, who tipped the scales at 11st (70kg) for the interim title bout on January 25, admitted to indulging in his favorite pastime of eating since returning to Merseyside.

Pimblett, nicknamed 'The Baddy,' shared his weight gain on a recent vlog, saying he weighed 86kg that morning after previously reaching 90kg-plus between fights. The fighter has a well-documented history of significant weight fluctuations, once consuming nearly 11,000 calories after a victory at UFC London in 2022. He follows an unrestricted diet when not training for bouts.

Despite the weight gain, Pimblett downplayed concerns, noting he's not at his heaviest range of 94-95kg. The revelation comes after his first loss in seven fights, snapping a winning streak that had built momentum in the UFC lightweight division. His next move in the competitive 155-pound weight class remains to be seen as he works to return to fighting shape.
