Paddy Pimblett is targeting a return to the UFC in July during the promotion's annual international fight week in Las Vegas. The 31-year-old lightweight, who suffered his first UFC loss to Justin Gaethje in January, expressed interest in returning during the July 11 event at T-Mobile Arena. Pimblett was ringside at UFC London where teammate Luke Riley competed.

UFC president Dana White confirmed the promotion's interest in Pimblett's return, stating 'Whenever he wants to fight, we'd love to have him back.' The Liverpudlian missed a potential matchup with rival Ilia Topuria after his defeat to Gaethje in their interim title fight. Topuria now faces Gaethje at UFC White House on June 14 in Washington.

Pimblett has several options for his comeback, including fights against top-10 lightweights Charles Oliveira, Benoit Saint-Denis, and Dan Hooker. The former Cage Warriors champion's defeat to Gaethje marked his first UFC loss and his first defeat since 2018, making his return one of the most anticipated lightweight matchups of the summer.
