A heated NBA matchup between the Detroit Pistons and Charlotte Hornets erupted into a bench-clearing brawl that resulted in four players being ejected. The Pistons secured a 110-104 victory despite the chaos that unfolded during the third quarter.

Detroit's Jalen Duren and Charlotte's Moussa Diabate were at the center of the confrontation, with Duren being fouled before the pair appeared to butt heads. The situation quickly escalated when Diabate attempted to strike Duren, drawing in multiple players including Isaiah Stewart, who put Miles Bridges in a headlock and appeared to strike him repeatedly.

The melee lasted approximately 30 seconds and required brief police presence on the court. Hornets coach Charles Lee was also ejected in the fourth quarter after being restrained while arguing with officials. Lead official John Goble confirmed the players were ejected for "engaging in fighting activity during the dead ball" following a league review.
