LIV Golf has announced a deal with an unnamed lead investor to secure its future for the 2027 season, following the withdrawal of Saudi Arabian backing. The competition will be scaled back to 10 events next year, with five held in the US and five internationally. LIV is focused on concluding its current season, with events in New York, Indianapolis, and Michigan.

Several major winners, including Bryson De Chambeau and Dustin Johnson, remain with LIV, while others like Brooks Koepka have returned to the PGA Tour. The PGA Tour and DP World Tour have also formed an alliance with the Asian Tour. LIV is exploring a multi-partner investment model, with interest from over a dozen potential minority investors, aiming for long-term stability and growth.
