Francesca Hennessy is in negotiations to face undisputed bantamweight champion Dina Thorslund in the UK later this year, according to BBC Sport. Promoter Boxxer has offered Thorslund close to $250,000 (£183,000) to travel to the UK for a November or December bout.

Hennessy, the WBC’s top-ranked challenger at 21, would become the youngest undisputed world champion in four-belt history with a win. Her promoter Ben Shalom confirmed the offer, stating it represents the highest payday of Thorslund’s career. "Fran is one of the most exciting young fighters in the sport," Shalom said.

Thorslund’s manager Lee Eaton acknowledged ongoing discussions but emphasized the need for financial and broadcasting commitments. "Boxxer knows what gets the fight made," Eaton told BBC Sport. "Let's see if they can come up with the money and broadcaster deal."
