Dean Harrison seized control of Isle of Man TT qualifying, topping the Superbike, Superstock and Senior sheets. The 37‑year‑old set a record 133.925 mph lap on his Honda Fireblade in the opening session, then improved to 134.877 mph in Friday’s cooler, wind‑swept run. His dominance echoes a double Superstock win last year, boosting his championship credentials.

Peter Hickman (8TEN Racing BMW) qualified second at 132.712 mph, positioning himself as Harrison’s main threat, provided his lingering shoulder nerve damage from last year’s crash does not limit him. Australian Josh Brookes recorded the fifth‑fastest circuit time on a DAO Racing Honda, while Michael Dunlop, returning on a Hawk Racing Honda, showed steady improvement despite early practice hiccups. Both riders will rely on tyre management.

In Superstock, Harrison’s 135.484 mph lap left a 16‑second gap to the nearest challenger and a 27‑second margin over BMW‑mounted Dunlop, who sat second. Dunlop dominates Supersport and Sportbike classes, holding unofficial 123.557 mph lap records and leading the standings by 18.5 seconds. The gaps underscore bike setup, making Harrison the rider to beat across the top categories.
