Britain's Francesca Jones secured her second consecutive Challenger Tour title by winning the Palermo Ladies Open. As the top seed, she defeated Fiona Ferro in a hard-fought final, 6-0 4-6 7-6 (8-6), lasting two hours and 43 minutes.

Jones dominated the first set, winning it in just 21 minutes. Despite facing a deficit in the second, she managed to level the score, but Ferro ultimately forced a decider. The final set was a tense affair, culminating in a tie-break. Ferro had a match point at 6-5, but Jones managed to clinch the victory.

This marks Jones' fourth career Challenger Tour win and her second in eight days, following her triumph at the ATV Rome Open. She previously won the Palermo title in 2025. The victory will see Jones climb in the WTA rankings from 113 to 110.
