Wing Immanuel Feyi-Waboso has cleared his medical assessment and is set to line up in Saturday's Premiership final against Northampton, a massive boost for the Exeter Chiefs. He has been training without contact, exempt from tackling drills, and coach Steve Baxter confirmed he will not need a protective mask. He was among the supporters who celebrated Exeter’s semi‑final triumph over Bath at the Recreation Ground.

Baxter noted the wing has been able to run patterns and shapes, proving he is fully ready. Feyi-Waboso will compete with Paul Brown‑Bampoe, Campbell Ridl and Ben Hammersley for the wing berth, while back‑row forward Ethan Roots also completes his return‑to‑play after a head knock. All four wings have logged significant minutes this season, making the selection fiercely contested.

Exeter will announce its match‑day 23 at midday Friday, with Baxter expected to finalise the squad on Thursday evening. The inclusion of Feyi‑Waboso removes doubt about the Chiefs’ attacking options for the final, giving them a fit winger as they chase the title. The Chiefs enter the match on a five‑game unbeaten league run, and a fit Feyi‑Waboso could tilt the balance in the final.
