Dakota Ditcheva's PFL Return Set for July After Hand Injury Layoff

British flyweight Dakota Ditcheva ends a 12-month injury layoff to challenge Dutch veteran Denise Kielholtz at PFL New York on July 31. The 27-year-old was scheduled to meet Kielholtz in February before a hand injury forced postponement.

Ditcheva originally fractured her hand during July 2025 victory over Sumiko Inaba. The rescheduled bout lands on the undercard of Usman Nurmagomedov's lightweight title defence against Archie Colgan at UBS Arena in Long Island.

The Brit enters unbeaten at 15-0 with 12 knockouts, establishing herself as one of Britain's top prospects. She made history last year by capturing the PFL's 2024 flyweight tournament crown.

Kielholtz brings extensive experience as a former kickboxing world champion with a 9-5 MMA record. The 37-year-old presents a significant test for Ditcheva's comeback, though the British champion's perfect record suggests confidence in her return.
